Oculus Go VR expands to more stores in the UK and mainland Europe

Getting into VR can be costly, especially if you don’t already have a gaming PC. A stand-alone solution like the Oculus Go can be more affordable and much more portable. Speaking of, you can now grab a Go VR headset from several retailers in the UK and Europe (it was previously only available through the official Oculus site).

In euros the price is €220 for the 32 GB model and €270 for the 64 GB one. In pounds it's £200 and £250 respectively. Check out a few of the retailers that offer the headset.

The Oculus Go is powered by the Snapdragon 821 chipset, which renders graphics to an LCD panel with 2,560 x 1,440 px resolution. Refresh rate starts at 60 Hz but can go up to 72 Hz if the game/app supports it.

The headset comes with a motion controller and integrated spacial audio speakers (it has a 3.5 mm jack if you prefer headphones). Inserts with prescription lenses can be bought separately.
