While Samsung is expected to announce its Galaxy A52 and A72 phones at next week’s Unpacked event, YouTuber Moboaesthetics got a hold of a retail Galaxy A52 5G unit early and posted his unboxing video.
We can see the box reveals some of the phone’s key specs which match previous leaks. These include an Infinity-O display, 64MP main camera with OIS and IP67 water and dust resistance rating. The side of the packaging reveals the A52 5G bears the SM-A526B/DS model number. The box contents include a USB-A to USB-C cable alongside a 25W fast charger, clear silicone case and SIM ejector pin.
The display is of the SuperAMOLED variety and features a 120Hz refresh rate and a built-in fingerprint reader. The punch hole cutout on top encompasses a 32MP selfie cam. As expected the A52 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 750G and boots One UI 3.1 on top of Android 11.
Moving on to the phone we can see it has a headphone jack next to the charging port while the SIM tray which can also house microSD cards is located on the top. The A52 comes with a plastic back and four cameras. These include a 64MP primary shooter and 8MP ultrawide snapper alongside a 5MP macro cam and 2MP depth helper. The battery comes in at 4,500 mAh.
